I’ve always enjoyed these candles, but unfortunately, I had to return my last batch because the scent was completely off. Shortly after lighting one, I noticed a foul odor—so strong and unpleasant that I thought something had spoiled in my home. It genuinely smelled like bad fish, and I spent time trying to locate the source, not even considering the candle at first. Eventually, I realized the smell was coming directly from it. I was told the formula hasn’t changed, but it’s possible something in the batch went bad without being caught. Really disappointing experience this time around.
On top of that, I was disappointed to learn that I had to cover the return shipping myself, even though the product clearly seemed defective. I’ve loved these candles in the past, but this experience was frustrating and makes me hesitant to order again.
